Guest lecture. (2023, January). Time and Understanding, College of Fine Arts, School of Art, Department of Art and Visual Culture Education, University of Arizona, Tucson, USA. The lecture was about time and how it dwells as an atmosphere finding its way through our lives as renewed histories. Since we seemingly cannot consider a future without its past, understanding the agentic nature of time becomes critical in navigating rapidly changing societies. I discussed an ontological framework about the indifferences that time has of itself and the chaos that manifests because of these indifferences. In doing so, I aimed to illuminate an understanding of how the chaotic nature of time can provide insights for inclusive pedagogical practices for pre-service visual art and design students.
